Machine Learning Engineer - recommendation models for the travel industry

SilverSpoonLab is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to turn resort reviews, guest data, and travel signals into models that make every recommendation sharper. You will work closely with our product teams to deliver ML systems that improve recommendations for travelers.

Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for an engineer with experience in both research and production environments.

Qualifications

Production ML experience Python & PyTorch / scikit-learn Comfortable with messy real-world data Clear technical communication Recommendation systems or NLP a plus

Key responsibilities

  1. Design, build, and maintain machine learning models that power recommendations and insights
  2. Partner with the SSL programs to structure and enrich incoming review data
  3. Build and maintain data pipelines that feed our models at scale
  4. Evaluate model performance and iterate based on real customer outcomes
  5. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship features into our platform
  6. Stay current with ML research and bring relevant techniques into our roadmap
